Bug description: A game would not run under wine. It was ported to Linux recently and I don't want to buy it unless I'm sure it will work. Please, have a look at wine bug database (http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=34060). System environment: -- chipset: Ivybridge Mobile -- system architecture: 64-bit -- xf86-video-intel: 2.21.12-2.fc19 -- xserver: 1.14.3-1.fc19 -- mesa: 9.2-1.20130919.fc19 -- libdrm: 2.4.46-1.fc19 -- kernel: 3.11.3-201.fc19 -- Linux distribution: Fedora 19 -- Machine or mobo model: Lenovo ThinkPad T530 Reproducing steps: Download the Euro truck simulator demo from official site (http://www.eurotrucksimulator2.com/download_ets2.php), install it in wine and run it. The first (company) logo shows just fine, but then the game crashes. Additional info: I have tried the game on other machine with nVidia card and got the very same problem (or seemed same to me). Once I installed the proprietary nVidia drivers, the game run fine.
Sounds like from the linked bug report you figured out you needed S3TC, so closing it.
