Description Erdem U. Altınyurt 2013-10-14 00:47:42 UTC
With kernel 3.11 I have no issues.
But with 3.12-rc[1-4] I have issues with HDMI audio output on my Radeon HD6850 GPU.
GPU interface is visible, only difference is there are no sound comes from TV with 3.12 kernel. I with this will be solved until final 3.12. Thanks.

You need to use xrandr to activate audio now

xrandr --output HDMI-0 --set audio auto

Should do the trick
