Would be awesome to get the following glyphs for the next release: ḏ ẏ Ḏ Ẏ (D with line under, Y with dot over) Here are the Unicode locations in Decimal HTML ents: ḏ - _d ẏ - 'y Ḏ - _D ẍ - 'Y They are featured in the XHK (eXtended Harvard-Kyoto) and (XIAST eXtended IAST) transliteration systems developed for easing the input of both Bengali and Sanskrit scripts. They will be released within the week along with our Wiki on Gaudiya Vaisnava and Indic religion, and our transliteration converter gkwiki:diCrunch (at http://wiki.gaudiyakutir.com/diCrunch.php ). DejaVu is the default font used in the Wiki and in our tools, recommended to our users - I only wish these two characters found support... Thanks - keep up the good work!
In case it is of interest, here are the specs for the XHK transliteration convention itself: http://wiki.gaudiyakutir.com/XHK
Setting component to Mono Sans because those characters are already in DejaVu Sans and Serif fonts.
Yes - thank you, I notice that now! How odd, the fonts must have not gotten replaced when I supposedly updated for the latest release. I have now updated our pages to reflect this, and again thank you for the good work.
Just committed the addition to Mono Sans fonts. Closing the bug. The characters still need instructions but that's on the TODO list. File a bug if they look wrong at some sizes.
Wow - well that was fast!
