Is this a regression? If so, can you bisect?

(In reply to comment #2) > hmm, what it means 'bisect'? Using Git bisect to figure out when brokenness was introduced http://webchick.net/node/99 Maybe start here: https://www.google.com/search?q=dri-devel+git+bisect&ie=UTF-8 Or git bisect mesa-devel Regards, Dieter > On Sat, Nov 16, 2013 at 8:57 PM, <bugzilla-daemon@freedesktop.org> wrote: > > > *Comment # 1 <https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=71681#c1> on > > bug 71681 <https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=71681> from Alex > > Deucher <agd5f@yahoo.com> * > > > > Is this a regression? not an easy task for a newbie as me :) i'll try it in a day or two
hi there. i haven't"bisect" anything yet but found one more similar case: http://askubuntu.com/questions/366596/unity-desktop-displays-strange-lines
meybe it helps but this was the same behavior and picture with Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and Ubuntu 13.10 freshly installed from LiveCD. The only difference was that blinking screen on video played and scrolling was persistent in 12.04 and appears in 13.10 only after system wakes up from "suspend" mode
