Description raprego+freedesktop 2013-11-17 22:45:57 UTC
I have noticed that pm-powersave is not called when chaning the AC power state on my laptop (plugging in or unplugging AC power). This worked with upower-0.9.20 but no longer works after this version. I have tried upower-0.9.22 and upower-0.9.23 and neither works as expected. Downgrading the package to upower-0.9.20 works properly again.

System details:
Asus BU400A
Arch Linux x86_64
Linux kernel 3.12.0-1-ARCH

Please let me know what other information would be helpful.

It's possible it is related, though I am not seeing the issue in Bug 71197

Did you build UPower without the deprecated functions enabled?
Pass "--enable-deprecated" to build with them.

Note that this is going away so you'll need to switch to using something else at some point.

This feature was removed in 2013, I think the bug can be closed :).
