The corruption appear to be in the GL elements. Have you tried with different AccelMethods in the ddx, or different versions of mesa?
Comment 4 Daniel Vetter 2013-11-19 18:57:23 UTC
Testing latest mesa git master might be worth a shot - Paul Berry fixed a bunch of alpha-blending issues (presuming gnome-shell uses msaa which I don't know).
Comment 5 Paul Berry 2013-11-20 16:21:09 UTC
The corruption looks similar to bug #65744, however that would surprise me because that bug was both introduced and fixed between Mesa 9.1 and 9.2. What version of Mesa are you using? (You can find this by running glx info and looking for the line that starts "OpenGL version string:")
Comment 6 Conner 2013-11-20 21:48:41 UTC
Running mesa 9.2.3. Will try to see if i can reproduce this later using uxa acceleration instead of sna
Comment 7 Chris Wilson 2013-12-13 14:22:18 UTC
Believed to be fixed.
