Please don't touch importance. All it does is annoy the people who look at bugs.

This bug does not appear to provide any information. Take a look at http://nouveau.freedesktop.org/wiki/Bugs/ for some of the information we're looking for.

It appears that you forgot to describe what the issue is? Just the warning? What kernel were you using before where you didn't see it?
Comment 2 adham3322 2013-11-24 15:31:16 UTC
so firstly sorry to disturb you secondly it didn't appear when i was using 3.8 kernel thirdly it dose't appear every time i boot up the machine it just appears randomly and when it appears my actual desktop takes long time before it even appears then it appears without my customization (icons , etc) and with a white wallpaper about the dmesg i will provide you with the full kernel_log the next time itappears but really nouveau W[ PFIFO][0000:01:00.0] INTR 0x00000100: 0x00000011 is the only error that appears

Comment 5 Ilia Mirkin 2013-11-24 15:46:11 UTC
From http://nouveau.freedesktop.org/wiki/Bugs/, which I encourage you to read slowly and carefully:

"""
Attach complete, unfiltered, untrimmed kernel log from the boot up to and including the problem, and a complete X log if the problem manifests with X. Note, that /var/log/messages is not a kernel log. Running dmesg is the best way to get a kernel log, but assuming, that the log buffer has not wrapped around.
"""

You say that you're on a 525M -- does this correspond to a NVC1? (This would be apparent from the various logs, one of the many reasons we ask for one.) If so, there's a bug in 3.11 and 3.12 related to NVC1. Either use 3.10 or 3.13-rc1 or apply this patch: https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=13d2b35a0653
Comment 6 adham3322 2013-11-24 16:02:44 UTC

Comment 7 adham3322 2013-11-24 17:00:54 UTC
