Bad "kerning" for some characters - see screenshots for Bitstream Vera and
DejaVu Sans (first, second)

Environment: spotted with DejaVu TTF on Linux (freetype with both TT hinter and

Cause: first: weird behavior of the SHZ instruction, second: flag USE_MY_METRICS
not used in composite glyphs (relevant threads on mailing list) (this is an
unfixed spin-off from "worse than Vera" bug)
