In this document I used it often

Since 4.2 alpha this part dosen't work:
I mark in a text document a part of text, a table and another text

I can't mark it with mouse or keyboard.

(I do it for copy and paste cause I need it at several places in the document.)

Checked with deb64 but it's also with win.

Best regards

Gerald

Can confirm this on Windows 7 Pro.

It is not possible to mark text across a table.

Top-down, bottom-up, mouse, keyboard. The mark disappears when you touch the table in any case.

Hello Gerald, *,
I can confirm it with my parallel installed LO Version: 4.2.0.0.beta1 Build-ID: f4ca7b35f580827ad2c69ea6d29f7c9b48ebbac7 (with installed Germanophone lang- as well as helppack) under Debian Testing AMD64 ... :( If you mark them with <Ctrl>+<A>, you have the possibility to mark and copy them all.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Start Writer
2. Enter some text
3. Enter a table via "Insert – Table"
4. Click below the table
5. Enter some text again
6. Either use your mouse to mark the text and the table, or use your shift and arrow keys

As soon as you reach the table, the formerly marked text is not marked any more ... :(
HTH
Thomas.
P.S.: Could anyone change the MIME type of the attachment, please? I am not sure, what I should enter there, otherwise I have done it myself ... ;)
