Sample PDF

Text search and selection/copypasting doesn't work with PDF files that are created using LaTeX or similar tools. Search doesn't find results properly and copying text results in junk characters.

Search and selection usually work with text formatted as a (mathematical) formula but it's not very useful.

Search works partially in Firefox PDF viewer. Adobe Reader on Windows 7 works flawlessly.

Sample PDF file attached.

Tested on:
-Okular 0.17.3 on Arch Linux x86-64
-Okular 0.17.4 on Arch Linux x86-64
--Poppler main package version is 0.24.4-1
(pacman search for poppler shows "extra/poppler 0.24.4-1 [installed]")

-Evince on LMDE x86-64
-Xpdf on LMDE x86-64

I have also observed this problem with poppler 24.5 when using okular 17.2 under KDE 4.11.2 in Gentoo Linux, kernel 3.7.9.
