Looks like a tiling issue. Please attach your xorg log and dmesg output. You can disable tiling by adding: Option "ColorTiling" "false" to the device section of your xorg.conf

Please also attach the Xorg.0.log file. (In reply to comment #5) > mesa: 9.2.5 Does Mesa 10.0.y work better?
Created attachment 91785 [details] Xorg.0.log (successful initialization) (In reply to comment #5) > Does Mesa 10.0.y work better? I've managed to get my card working with mesa 10.0.1 and xf86-video-ati 7.2. However, I had to disable gles2 for glamor. Otherwize, xorg 1.15 couldn't initialize video: [ 1154.497] (II) RADEON(0): Direct rendering enabled [ 1154.552] Failed to link: error: fragment shader lacks `main' [ 1154.552] (EE) Fatal server error: [ 1154.552] (EE) GLSL link failure
(In reply to comment #6) I should clarify my previous comment. Mesa 10.0 works for me without artifacts. So my main problem seems to be solved. Should I open a new bug for GLES2 issue?
(In reply to comment #7) > Mesa 10.0 works for me without artifacts. So my main problem seems to be > solved. Great, thanks for the clarification. > Should I open a new bug for GLES2 issue? Yes, but in the Gentoo bug tracker. They shouldn't enable GLES2 for the glamor build.
