Description o590694 2006-06-30 00:54:40 UTC
Hello,

I'm experiencing some screen viewing corruptions. parts are not getting
redrawn correctly and are shown black or somehow corruptet.

a simple minimize and maximize fixes this problem. I'll attach a screenshot
where the problem is shown inside of KDE. But this happens in fluxbox, too, so
I guess it is not DE releated.

This is the machine:
- Apple PowerMac G5
- Gentoo Linux
- 64 bit kernel and 64 bit userspace
- radeon 9600

it does not make a difference if DRI is enabled, or not.

How could this be fixed?

Make sure you don't enable backing store. If that's not the problem, please
attach (as opposed to paste) full config and log files.

They both say otherwise.

sorry, I was looking for the -bs switch in the command line...
