Description Ivan Zakharyaschev 2014-01-16 15:18:36 UTC
Today, I wanted to register at this Bugzilla with another address: imz at altlinux dot org.

But I didn't receive the email for confirmation.

There have been such problems already because of not perfect configuration of some other Bugzillas and other automated sites -- http://en.altlinux.org/Non-delivery_of_email_sent_by_automated_services_to_altlinux.org .

Could you please fix your configuration so that the email from you goes through?

Perhaps, the reason is simialr to the reason for messages not coming from mozilla.org's bugzilla once upon a time:

altlinux.org appears to be doing sender-callback-verification... the apache@mozilla.org address indeed appears to be missing now. It used to exist (exactly for this reason) so I'm not sure what happened to it. I just put it back.

bugzilla-daemon@ is a working email address; I regularly reply to bug mail all the time. It sounds like altlinux has a fairly hostile mail configuration, which does spuriously reject legitimate email. Not a lot we can do about that.

Sorry, that was my fault: the emails from a bugzilla were filtered and deleivered to a separate mailbox.

Now, everything has worked out, and I've registered successfully.
