I wanted to get some FPS infos from the game Rust ( http://store.steampowered.com/app/252490 ) but it doesn't work.
The Gallium HUD is visible while the game shows the loading screen but as soon as the information about the steam overlay fades away the HUD fades away, too. After that point the HUD shows up with the steam overlay only (so while a message from steam pops in or you press shift + tab).

Did you compile Mesa with --enable-gallium-egl?

Yes. Also with other games (for example: Left 4 Dead 2) it works.

There was a update of libdrm in my distro + a Rust update on Steam and while I don't know which of the two fixed it the problem is gone.
