GPU can be restored to a normal operation only via system reboot. Hmm.. I can reproduce lockups when dpm is disabled: using "profile" method just switch profile from "default" to (for example) "high". So probably any change of powerstate cause lockups.
Sorry, my last comment is incorrect. Seems the card just cannot reliably work in a high power states. When no 3D apps are running, power profiles can be freely switched. If I first switch profile to "high" and then run Unigine Heaven (I didn't test other modern 3D apps yet, but probably the result will be the same), then the GPU lockup.
Created attachment 92823 [details] lspci-vvvnn.log Looks like a hardware related problem. fglrx is also failing for me. According to lspci, x16 PCI Express port is capable to provide only 25W, which is not enough for CAPE VERDE. Also additional x8 PCI-E lines which is shared between this port and the neighbour x8 port are not active. The motherboard is Supermicro H8SCM.
