Description Daniel Ashton 2014-02-16 22:53:33 UTC
After a Calc freeze (caused by trying to Remove Formatting in a different file containing Asian characters), I recovered a spreadsheet containing about 1,400 rows of data. I had been using auto-filter, and the correct three rows were being displayed.

However, the drop-downs over each column were no longer filtered correctly for the visible lines: all values were visible in every column's drop-down, even though the AutoFilter item in the menu was still checked.

To resolve this, I did another Cmd-A (Select All) and Data -> Filter -> AutoFilter, after which I reselected the filter criteria in the key columns, after which the other columns' drop-downs showed only the expected values.

Bonus bug: after recovering and opening two spreadsheets, keystrokes (like Cmd-A) may go to the bottom, hidden spreadsheet instead of to the top, visible spreadsheet, even when it has been clicked-in.

Hi Daniel, thanks for reporting.

I remember there were some bugs solved about working with a non occidental languages.

Please try with the last version 4.2.3:
http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/4.2.3.3/

Grateful if you can report if the issue is solved.
