On current builds of master as well. Believe the math formulas get additional scaling because when first implemented they were too small to recognize. So could be a simple centering issue. Kendy?

Fixed in LibreOffice 5.0Beta1 It is still broken in branch 4.4 (tested with 4.4.4.1) Maybe the fix could be back-ported???
