Environment: --------------------- Mesa (10.1)git-62a3588 kernel 3.13.2 Xserver xorg-server-1.14.5 Xf86_video_intel (master)2.99.910-3 git-5142d1c Cairo (master)git-4144307 Libva (master)git-b4a4f9b Libva_intel_driver (master)git-54cb60f Description: -------------------- On the start page of Trine 2, some of the options is blank in Language selection list, you can see it from attached picture. It exists on SNB, and doesn't find the issue on IVB and HSW. This case is newly under test on the SNB. Retest with 2013Q4 source, this issue also exists. Steps: ---------------------- 1.xinit& 2.steam 3.launch "Trine 2"

The launcher is a GTK+ program and doesn't use OpenGL, so I can't see how this would be a Mesa issue. It's /possible/ that it's a 2D driver issue, so reassigning to Chris for now. That said, I've always had problems with Trine's launchers, so I'm suspicious it might be a bug in that, or bad 32-bit GTK engine theme interaction. Not sure.
Hmm, didn't strike me as a GTK rendered popup. Nevertheless, an Xorg.0.log and an xtrace of steam opening Trine and showing the language menu would tell us for certain how it is rendered.
I don't see any issue running the Trine2 launcher on an SNB:GT2 i5-2520qm, using f20 and gnome-shell. Is there some specific configuration required to reproduce?
Now it can't reproduced. In the meanwhile, steam was updated.
