Nouveau does not have a controller, so having many terrible, difficult bug to fix, and how to spend much energy and almost do nothing.

You forgot to describe your issue. Closing as invalid. FWIW, NVCF (which is what the 550 Ti _probably_ is) should be well-supported. Feel free to peruse the current open bugs though (I seem to recall a suspend/resume issue some people have).
