It actually solved the external monitor resolution issue, however I had another even more critical issue: my laptop display turns blank completely. It remains blank even when I boot it without any external monitor. Thanks. I'm also following this relevant bug 73539 and noticed there is a fix there. Just tried the latest drm-intel-nightly kernel (3.15.0-994_3.15.0-994.201405080316), and the black screen issue seem being solved now.

The new drm-intel-nightly kernel solves blank screen issue, but caused the lost of native resolution on OneLink Pro displayport, which was fixed before. I fired a new bug 78507.
