Log of X server when segmentation fault happened.

In a Random way, when i'm capturing video with GUVCVIEW application, the session is closed, and seeing on Xog.log I realized that a segmentation fault cause it.

I attached Xorg.log

Bellow are the last lines of stdout and errout of guvcview.

Note that your version of the driver is a year old and there have been many bugs fixed both with TearFree and Xv. Please try to reproduce on the latest driver and reopen if it still occurs.

Hi Chris,

Thank you very much, for let me know that. 

Could you give me a tip from where i can start to install the latest version of this driver, taking in account we are using *Ubuntu 12.04*.

I saw on intel page https://01.org/linuxgraphics/, that the latest installer is for Ubuntu 13.10.

So I suppose that to install the latest driver on an older distribution as  12.40 I should do the installation from sources, right ?
