Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
Release: 14.04
Codename: trusty

root@klaptop:~# uname -a
Linux klaptop 3.13.0-24-generic #46-Ubuntu SMP Thu Apr 10 19:11:08 UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

OS is up to date.
Chromium and NetBeans freezes, in dmesg I've seen this:

[ 9252.401388] [drm] stuck on render ring
[ 9252.401392] [drm] GPU crash dump saved to /sys/class/drm/card1/error
[ 9252.401393] [drm] GPU hangs can indicate a bug anywhere in the entire gfx stack, including userspace.
[ 9252.401394] [drm] Please file a _new_ bug report on bugs.freedesktop.org against DRI -> DRM/Intel
[ 9252.401395] [drm] drm/i915 developers can then reassign to the right component if it's not a kernel issue.
[ 9252.401396] [drm] The gpu crash dump is required to analyze gpu hangs, so please always attach it.

Crash dump attached.

I've restarted chromium, and it works well. NetBeans unfreezes by self. All system continues to work without restart. If any additional info will needed - just ask.

The recommendation is to update your kernel.
