this is not a bug. default dictionaries cannot include all the existing words in the world. if you wanna add them to the dictionary so they are not marked anymore as error, just right click on that words and select "add to dictionary"

However, can they you add the words to the default dictionary?

I don't understand the meaning of this phrase. try explaining again.

What I mean is that is it possible to add words to Libre Office's default dictionary so that those words are distributed with each new copy of it.

it's not possible to add any existing word to the default dictionary...

you may need poetry words, but I need medical words and other people may need other specialistic words... you cannot enter them all, there will always be some missing.

it's up to the user to add them and customize the standard dictionary to fit their needs. adding words is quite easy as said in comment 1

In sincere hope you meant "every", I humbly ask to add "redistributable" to en_GB. There is "distributable" and "redistribute" in en_GB, there is also "redistributable" in en_US.

yes, I meant "every".
I really don't see the point of such requests...

as I said before there will always be some missing word and if the user wants to add them to dictionaries the only thing he has to do is to right click on them

REOPENED isn't the correct status for this bug, as there wasn't ever a developer assigned or fix released.
