Description Joshua Trees 2014-05-20 11:31:51 UTC
Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a new table.
2. Open the table properties.
3. Go to "Columns" tab.
4. Change the column width for one column by entering a number in the respective number box.
5. Click on OK *before changing focus to a different GUI element*.

Result:

Column width was not changed.

Expected result:

The column should have the width you entered.

Additional notes:

I'm running LibreOffice on Linux Mint but presume this issue affects all platforms.

Is this bug still valid / reproducible with the latest LO release? Currently 4.2.4: http://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/

Please also try resetting your user profile and let us know if that helps: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile

Using 4.2.4.2 this is WORKSFORME.

Not sure why you are still on LO 4.1 which is already End Of Live. Maybe update your ppa, I'm not familiar enough with Linux to give details about that. But the LO pages have instructions.

Re-open if this persists with 4.2.4.2 or newer.

I was able to reproduce this on a different machine running LibreOffice 4.2.4.2 on Windows. However I had to modify step 5 to pressing the return key rather than clicking on the OK button.

Hi, tested it under version 4.2.4.2 under Ubuntu14.04 and confirmed that if you enter a new value in a column field and then press the return key, the change is not saved. Clicking the ok button works. Set as New - Sophie
