If I try to change any of the paragraph styles I have to wait few minutes before LibreOffice responds. As other features of LibreOffice and other programs run pretty fast on my new notebook, I guess there must be some bug in this feature.

Or some problem with your user-profile??
Can you pls check if it improves if that is refreshed?

For the record: it's not rocking fast for me, but definitely not sooo slow :)

Hi Cor,
well, really good idea, I tried it as another user on the same computer and it runs quite fast. 
But - what to do next? My profile seems to be OK to me, what and how should I change?

Best is to set your preferences again. Macros - would you have them - can be imported to. Pls ask user list or similar if needed.
