Created attachment 101275 [details] GPU crash dump saved to /sys/class/drm/card0/error Hi, my linux crashes (complete freeze, recovery only possible with reset button) regularly when watching a movie. It was difficult to reproduce since it doesn't crash consistently at the same time/movie/codec... But I'm able to reproduce a crash now with an open-arena benchmark/test from the phoronix test suite. This time it hasn't been a complete freeze so I was able to gather the GPU crash dump. here an extinct of /var/log/syslog Jun 17 23:48:14 localhost kernel: [ 979.931833] [drm] stuck on render ring Jun 17 23:48:14 localhost kernel: [ 979.931841] [drm] stuck on blitter ring Jun 17 23:48:14 localhost kernel: [ 979.931844] [drm] GPU crash dump saved to /sys/class/drm/card0/error Jun 17 23:48:14 localhost kernel: [ 979.931845] [drm] GPU hangs can indicate a bug anywhere in the entire gfx stack, including userspace.
