Description Samuel Thibault 2014-06-29 18:12:52 UTC
Hello,

The rationale details is in the console-setup bug report:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=508862

In short, to properly handle unicode braille on the linux console, one
has to load braille glyphs. Rather than extending each and every font to
include braille patterns, systemd should provide a way to load a second
font for braille patterns.

The same holds for cyrillic, greek, etc.

Samuel
