Description Marcus Moeller 2014-06-30 12:46:12 UTC
Microsoft LifeChat LX-6000 is not set up correctly after resume. If I plug the headset, the device is listed in pavucontrol, but no sink/source is created.

A similar topic has been described on the mailinglist a while back: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/pulseaudio-discuss/2012-February/012907.html

do you mean udev daemon does not send add card event to pulseaudio server when you plug your USB audio after pulseaudio finish the probing ?
Comment 2 Marcus Moeller 2014-07-01 06:09:19 UTC
I am not really sure what exactly happens. What I can see is that the device is listed in pavucontrol within the Configuraiton section, but no corresponding Input/Output devices have been created.

If I can provide any log information, please let me know.

I have seen this problem now, without suspending the machine. Just unplugging / plugging caused the same behavior.

The problem only seems to occur on 32bit installations, at least I was not able to reproduce it on a similar 64bit install.

This may be a duplicate of bug 54029 - hard to tell without any logs
