The attached test program gives a segmentation fault.

It was reported as a pycairo bug
    https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8102
but the bug appears when using cairo alone.

This bug is absent in current releases, and compilation of 1.2.4 fails so I'm unable (without a lot of effort) to confirm when/if this was fixed.
