when using weston-lauch from a tty, each line of output follows the next, until the a on the bottom of the screen has been written. after that, each successive line overwrites the one that came before it. the tty does not scroll upon further output. as a result, once one quits weston, one sees a mess of lines at the bottom, and can't know what the parting words were. if there was a crash, the printed backtrace is not readable. the prompt then appears over the last line. it would be nice if weston-launch scrolled upon further output. i'm using debian jessie + a little sid, on amd64. i tested with weston master.
Yeah, but apparently cannot be helped AFAIU. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 75442 ***
