LibO 4.3 VS 3.3

Steps:
1) Open https://www.libreoffice.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=103815
2) Notice that there is a blue rectangle on the first page
3) export to pdf or print to pdf printer (e.g. CUPS)
4) Open pdf
5) rectangle is black

Tested on 3.6.7, 4.2.5, 4.3.1 on Linux Mint. Its a regression as 3.3.0 has it in blue.
Comment 1 Yousuf Philips (jay) (retired) 2014-08-01 22:05:48 UTC
Confirmed this doesnt happen on Windows 7 with 4.3.1.

I can't reproduce exporting as pdf with:
Opensuse 13 - (Okular pdf viewer)
Version: 4.3.0.1 Build ID: 9ed0c4329cf13f882dab0ee8b9ecd7b05e4aafbb
Comment 3 Kevin Suo 2014-08-02 06:51:20 UTC
I do not reproduce either with 4.3.0.4 ubuntu 14.04 x86.

Jay you should check your colour setting options, whether it was set as "gray scale"?

Also try to reset user profile.

Kevin: so the rectangle is black, but the photo is in color. :)

The rectangle is a shape filled with color. The photo is an image. So they may behave different.

Well it is fine in pdf export in 3.3 and not in 4.3. I reset my profile and that didnt help either in 4.3.

yep

> 3) export to pdf or print to pdf printer (e.g. CUPS)

Used the built-in export to PDF button.

> 4) Open pdf
> 5) rectangle is black

NO REPRO -- Opened PDF with evince, and rectangle remains blue.

Also NO REPRO with LO 3.5.7 (from ubuntu repo).

Jay -- Can you confirm on a 2nd machine? Or try a bootable USB stick?

This is looking like a single-machine issue, so I'm going to toss it in NEEDINFO until you can double-check and verify results locally. Thanks!

Sorry guys, this seems to be a bug in Okular, as the issue doesnt happen in evince or adobe reader. :)

No worries -- glad to help track down the problem, even if it's not one of ours :-)
