A DOC or DOCX file created from PDF by <Soda PDF 6> cannot be read. 
Windows Office does read it correctly.

Reads (opens) with:
Bodhi 2.x
LibreOffice 4.3.0.4 release

What is your operating system and version of LibreOffice? Try with 4.3.0.4 release

Marking as WFM - if you test on 4.3.0.4 release and can still fail to open please give your operating system and the exact error and mark the bug as UNCONFIRMED (you might have to mark as NEEDINFO first because of a FDO bug).
