Description Gary Dale 2014-09-01 11:04:54 UTC
This shows up when printing anything with multiple forms per page (it may also happen with single forms per page - can't remember, I usually print labels). Moreover it shows up withing LibreOffice's print dialogues as it actually shows the extra pages in the page count! For example, if I was printing something that should take 10 pages, the print dialogue will show it taking 19 pages.

Things get worse when colour is involved, as all pages except the first have the colours messed up. The only workaround is to select records so that only one page of forms prints at a time.

This has been going on for a long time and is not dependent on the printer. I have tested it on 32bit Ubuntu and 64bit Debian and it is still present in both Ubuntu 14.04 and Debian/Jessie (testing).

Hi Gary,

thanks for reporting, but IMO this is not a bug. When you print, on the second tab you can (un-)check Print automatic inserted blank pages.
This option is also available from Tools > Options > Writer > Print..

Pls refer to Help or s for the background of this feature.
Regards,
Cor

Gary,

Please attach samples and screen shots to illustrate this issue.
Are you using a distro repository edition of the software, or have you installed the "official" edition from the LibreOffice website?

Regards
Dave
