Description athikom.v 2014-09-09 19:37:26 UTC
Possible cases that causes system to crash, closing all applications then return to login screen:

1. Clicking on some javascript/ajax/jquery components on a webpage (sliding content)

2. Drag-maximize windows (terminal windows)

3. Starting some applications (LibreOffice Writer)

Are they different crashes to the GPU hang mentioned in the summary? Can you please attach the /sys/class/drm/card0/error for the hang and if the others result in an X crash (see /var/log/Xorg.0.log etc) file separate bugs.

So that gpu hang is bug 77104 and that can be caused by any activity that causes the compositor to redraw. It seems to reasonable to assume that all these bugs are the same, please file new bugs if you have different symptoms.
