I'm using a Radeon 7000 video card. I've always had little rendering problems with Xorg - in KDE, OpenOffice, wine, etc: 1) Dragging icons on KDE's desktop often leaves traces. (There's a KDE bug: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=84737. It mentions some PE_FocusRect code...) 2) When running Wine in an emulated desktop mode, dragging windows leaves traces, too. 3) In OpenOffice, the letter "r" is drawn incorrectly for certain font sizes. (Also, the Cyrillic letter "г" has the same problem - which is pretty interesting, since they have almost the same shape.) I will attach screenshots. I tried using EXA. All of the above problems were fixed... But new ones appeared. So I can't decide what to use.

Nice, the "XaaNoDashedBresenhamLine" and "XaaNoDashedTwoPointLine" options fixed dragging icons and (almost) fixed Wine. (That is, Wine still has some problems - but they also appear with EXA and without acceleration at all.)

Yep... Same issues. (I tried wine and OpenOffice - KDE is not using PE_FocusRect anymore.)
dropping as a release blocker since exa has been the default for quite some time now.
Closing as WONTFIX; XAA is too far gone these days. If EXA does not work, file a new bug or attach yourself to an existing bug matching your issues.
