tested under Win7x64 with LibO 4.3.2.2 LibO freezes while loading the file. can the file be opened in MS Word?
tested under Xubuntu 14.04 and LibreOffice Version: 4.3.2.2 Slow to load but displays 1st 24 pages
@tommy27, ObrienDave Yes, MS Word (2013) can open the file, and it has 527 pages.
Opens in abiword 3.0.0 at 514 pages
On Windows Vista, with LibreOffice Version: 4.4.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: b80c468e35ee321b5580b42642064f74f9241fb6 TinderBox: Win-x86@39, Branch:master, Time: 2014-10-14_07:06:12 the program opens the file to "Page 1 of 519" according the the status bar, and <ctrl>+<End> moves to "Page 519 of 519 (Page 503)".
