Often if I'm creating xwd images I'm seeing a layer behind another layer on top of the image. For example this seems to always happen if 2 terminals are overlapping. In the attachments is a screenshot of this issue.

I think I'm seeing the same thing, except it's causing my gnome-terminal titlebar and menu to go missing in the screenshot.  (Ubuntu 15.10, xfce4, no compositor)
