Description Alexander Berg 2014-10-15 10:40:51 UTC
Hello,

since some versions of Libreoffice 4.x, I try to export a whole impress presentation to create graphics from each page.

The Problem here is, that the export size is different from the selection possibilities. Instead of 1024*768 the exported size is only 800*600, instead of 800*600, its only 640*480 and instead of 640*480 the grafics are only 512*384 pixel.

Did you try last LO version 4.3.2?
On which env are you? (Windows, Linux, MacOs)
Comment 2 Alexander Berg 2014-10-16 05:53:28 UTC
I have version 4.2.6.3 with winxp sp3 and Java version 7 Update 67 (Build 1.7.0_67-b01). I use LO since the beginning of 2013.

ALexander: did you try 4.3.2 LO version?
Also, would it be possible you attach an example file (have in mind that any attachment is automatically made public, so remove any confidential/private part) by using this link?

Thank you for your feedback, I'll try to give a try soon.
Meanwhile, I put it back to UNCONFIRMED
Comment 6 Alexander Berg 2014-10-19 12:59:29 UTC
Thanx, Julien. :-)
Comment 7 Julien Nabet 2014-10-19 20:59:27 UTC
Ok I opened the odp file. But when trying to PDF export, I don't see anything specific about size.

Now, could you give the step by step process to reproduce the problem?
Comment 8 Alexander Berg 2014-10-20 06:11:11 UTC
Thats simple:

Just select "Export..." than choose "HTML-document"... and follow the steps. I added a screenshot of the third step, where the problem can be found (You see, I selected 1024*768) but after 1024*768 the exported size is only 800*600. And instead of 800*600 its only 640*480 and instead of 640*480 the grafics are only 512*384 pixel.

Here you can see the selected size.
Comment 10 Julien Nabet 2014-10-20 19:24:46 UTC
On pc Debian x86-64 with 4.3.2.2 LO Debian package, I don't reproduce this.
I tested 1024, 800 and 640, the three tests were ok.

Could you give a try to LO 4.3.2 ?
Comment 11 Alexander Berg 2014-10-20 20:39:53 UTC
I installed the 4.3.2.2. for Windows. Now it works. Thanks a lot. I thought, that I have the newest version... Thanks a lot, Julien. :-D
Comment 12 Julien Nabet 2014-10-20 20:49:02 UTC
Alexander: great for you! :-)
4.2 branch is now a "conservative" branch.
4.3 branch became quite stable since we're now at the second version of it.

See https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleasePlan for more details.

Anyway, I put it as WFM.

Thanks a lot

The full presentation is about the base of any existing society. The core of majority existing systems is the shifted responsibility. The created system structure erverywhere is a hierarchy. And the second part is about conditioned behaviour pattern. And an other part is about the basics of dynamic systems and how to design high efficient economic systems (companies) via the holisitic principles. The last part is about the peace and why we have none and the solution pattern to get.
