Periodic system freeze.
OS: Ubuntu 14.04 amd64
DE: Unity
PC: Dell 3721
GPU: Intel HD4000

dmsg log:
[10303.130413] perf samples too long (2504 > 2500), lowering kernel.perf_event_max_sample_rate to 50000
[11631.300193] [drm] stuck on render ring
[11631.300204] [drm] GPU crash dump saved to /sys/class/drm/card0/error
[11631.300206] [drm] GPU hangs can indicate a bug anywhere in the entire gfx stack, including userspace.
[11631.300207] [drm] Please file a _new_ bug report on bugs.freedesktop.org against DRI -> DRM/Intel
[11631.300208] [drm] drm/i915 developers can then reassign to the right component if it's not a kernel issue.
[11631.300209] [drm] The gpu crash dump is required to analyze gpu hangs, so please always attach it.

Could you please reproduce with latest drm-intel-nightly and collect a new error state?
drm-intel-nightly branch from http://cgit.freedesktop.org/drm-intel
