some of the google-specific MIME types have been added in the past, e.g. application/vnd.google-earth.kmz but several more remain unknown at the moment: from https://developers.google.com/drive/web/mime-types: application/vnd.google-apps.audio application/vnd.google-apps.document Google Docs application/vnd.google-apps.drawing Google Drawing application/vnd.google-apps.file Google Drive file application/vnd.google-apps.folder Google Drive folder application/vnd.google-apps.form Google Forms application/vnd.google-apps.fusiontable Google Fusion Tables application/vnd.google-apps.photo application/vnd.google-apps.presentation Google Slides application/vnd.google-apps.script Google Apps Scripts application/vnd.google-apps.sites Google Sites application/vnd.google-apps.spreadsheet Google Sheets application/vnd.google-apps.unknown application/vnd.google-apps.video I guess, application/vnd.google-apps.unknown should not be mapped but the others should. They are somewhat more generic though, e.g. application/vnd.google-apps.photo could probably be any image format. For example, gmail creates an attachment with the photo type by attaching a photo previously uploaded to Google+.
As per the HACKING file, please provide git formatted patches for each one of the mime-types you wish to add.
