Description James Duley 2014-11-24 19:52:12 UTC
This happens every week or so with chromium. This occasion I was doing something with google earth.

[21864.791495] [drm] stuck on render ring
[21864.793558] [drm] GPU HANG: ecode 0:0x87d3bffa, in chromium [1475], reason: Ring hung, action: reset
[21864.793562] [drm] GPU hangs can indicate a bug anywhere in the entire gfx stack, including userspace.
[21864.793564] [drm] Please file a _new_ bug report on bugs.freedesktop.org against DRI -> DRM/Intel
[21864.793566] [drm] drm/i915 developers can then reassign to the right component if it's not a kernel issue.
[21864.793568] [drm] The gpu crash dump is required to analyze gpu hangs, so please always attach it.
[21864.793571] [drm] GPU crash dump saved to /sys/class/drm/card0/error

Arch Linux with 3.17.3
Acer c720

Please let me know if you need any other information.
