Hi,

when executing squirresql (http://squirrel-sql.sourceforge.net/) the application
screen gets grey(no information) like some other java applications. 

I change compiz to use metacity, then I get the squirrelsql window with all the
content. Then I change back to use GL.

Just when it is changing window applications and get up squirrelsql, compiz gets
freeze so the rest of the X. 

I'm using squirrelsql 2.3 final, compiz from gandalf dev release 0.3.2-0, and
sun jdk "1.5.0_09" in a ubuntu edgy. 

This is happening just in this development release. In the normal release, the
it is working fine, just the java issue but no freeze at all.

Hi Petro,

Do you still have the bug with 0.3.6 release? I'm using several Java Swing and
SWT apps mostly fine, including Eclipse (with a small issue that's not specific
to Eclipse though).

If you can't reproduce it, please close this bug.

The Sun JDK has a bug that prevents it from working with Compiz under some
circumstances. See:

Perhaps it's the same issue.
