Hi all, the last release of xdg-utils on http://portland.freedesktop.org/download/ is from 2011 and it's 1.1.0-rc1. Currently, the Mageia packaging is based on a snapshot of the git repository which is a flimsy way of doing things. There should be new releases in tarballs, in a way that doesn't require the GNU-Autotools-bootstrapping. Please release them. Also see: * https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14932 * https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=87988 Regards, -- Shlomi Fish
I've made a release since then, http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/xdg/2014-February/013184.html But have no access to freedesktop infrastructure to make changes myself. If you know how to make that happen, I'm all ears.
Hi Rex, (In reply to Rex Dieter from comment #1) > I've made a release since then, > > http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/xdg/2014-February/013184.html > I see - thanks! I let the mageia.org devs know about it. > But have no access to freedesktop infrastructure to make changes myself. If > you know how to make that happen, I'm all ears. I can't tell you offhand because I'm not really heavily involved in the freedesktop project. Is there a mailing list to whicih you can post this? Regards, -- Shlomi Fish
