Description andrew 2015-02-08 21:05:02 UTC
Hello, I upgraded to intel-gfx git 2.99.917 to resolve some strange issues after enabling "TearFree" on my Ubuntu 14.04 laptop system with Intel HD 4400 Graphics, ever since then when I paste information into the firefox address box.

Strangely, this corruption does not occur anywhere else, specifically only when pasting something in. I think this could be because I forced "TearFree" on.

Tried removing boot options

"i915.lvds_downclock=1 drm.vblankoffdelay=1 i915.semaphores=1 i915_enable_rc6=1 i915.modeset=1 intel_pstate=enable"

from grub, ran grub-update, booted with a default boot string. Still experiencing the issue.
