Description George R. Goffe 2015-02-17 20:17:32 UTC
I have recently installed Fedora 21 x86_64 and when KDE starts the mouse pointer appears to be constantly redrawn producing an effect like the old(?) Windows setting for mouse pointers called "tails". This makes KDE VERY difficult to use.

Hi,

I don't see anything significant in this file but then, I'm NOT a developer.

Your help is definitely needed.

Thanks,

George...

Dave,

Thanks for your response. I don't have the manual but from web searches on N53SN-RH71 I seem to find this info. Graphics Controller Model: GeForce GT 550M

I'm somewhat surprised that this info isn't in any of the logs though.

This info is in the dmesg command output:

I'm running Fedora 30 now and haven't seen this bug in over 3 1/2 years. Something magical happened apparently. It could just be closed due to lack of developer interest.
