The GPU hangs on resume from suspend, -nightly from yesterday, mesa 10.5.0.

Looks like HWS is broken after resume.

still happens with todays drm-intel-next-queued

This is a regression from 3.19 which resumes fine. 4.0rc hangs hard when the eDP panel is used before suspending or enabled after a resume, so -next/nightly is slightly better..

You still seeing this with latest nightly? I was able to suspend+resume several times without apparent problems yesterday.

hmm didn't realize this was still open.. using a module based on 4.2 now, so yes closing is the right thing
