Description Claudio Saavedra 2006-11-09 14:23:19 UTC
In order to use the recently added "object-flip-vertical" and sibling icons in
the Eye of GNOME, we need also a flip 180 degrees one. Could you please consider
adding this icon to the spec?

The related EOG bug is here:

Comment 1 Jakub Steiner 2006-11-09 17:19:40 UTC
you mean rotate, not flip (mirror), right?
Comment 2 Claudio Saavedra 2006-11-10 05:12:05 UTC
Oh, yes. You are right. Sorry for the imprecision.
Comment 3 Claudio Saavedra 2006-11-10 07:45:11 UTC
After discussing more deeply about the real need of this action in the Eye of
GNOME, we have come to the conclusion that such an action shouldn't be part of a
*simple* image viewer[1]. Therefore, we decline the request and leave completely
up to you the decision of including this icon into the spec.

Thank you

There's no need to have an icon or action for this I think. The user can simply
hit object-rotate-{left,right} twice in a row for rotating to 180 deg.
