this is what dmesg gives me: 

[23737.772576] [drm] GPU hangs can indicate a bug anywhere in the entire gfx stack, including userspace.
[23737.772579] [drm] Please file a _new_ bug report on bugs.freedesktop.org against DRI -> DRM/Intel
[23737.772581] [drm] drm/i915 developers can then reassign to the right component if it's not a kernel issue.
[23737.772583] [drm] The gpu crash dump is required to analyze gpu hangs, so please always attach it.
[23737.772586] [drm] GPU crash dump saved to /sys/class/drm/card0/error

this happens on an ubuntu 14.04 distribution. 

uname -r : 3.16.0-33-generic
CPU: Intel Pentium 3558U
