This manifests when playing some video and a .wmv simultaneously with hardware acceleration (vaapi) enabled; in this case my media player is mpv with the following configuration:

  vo=vaapi
  hwdec=vaapi

Does the patch attached in comment #2 work for you ?

This issue only occurs on SNB and no response about the workaround over 1 year. I closed the bug as wontfix. Please feel free to reopen the bug if you still experience this issue on SNB.
