Hi Lucas, Contributing to any drm kernel driver does not require you to have an account at fd.o. Patches are submitted to the mailing list, people review them and maintainers pick them off there. One could use github/bitbucket/fd.o/etc if they want to, but that won't provide much added benefit. -Emil P.S. I'm not a member of the fd.o admin team, but a fellow contributor.

Resurrecting this old account request to be able to become a drm-misc committer, as suggested by danvet here: Message-Id: <20170325210542.pmriu3oycyg5spkk@phenom.ffwll.local> Link: https://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/dri-devel/2017-March/136913.html An fdo account seems to be a prerequisite for drm-misc committership according to: https://cgit.freedesktop.org/drm/drm-intel/tree/drm-misc.rst?h=maintainer-tools#n26
Ack. Lukas, can you pls also submit a patch to MAINTAINERS to add a vga switcheroo entry with you listed as reviewer and drm-misc as the git repo? For admins, drm-misc is the fd.o group Lukas needs.
Ack. Lukas has been working on the hybrid laptop stuff for a while now.
done!
